On February 27, the Dak Nong provincial Public Security launched the 2024 Tree Planting Festival in Dak Mil district in eternal gratitude to Uncle Ho.
Units of the Dak Nong Public Security simultaneously respond to the 2024 Tree Planting Festival
Speaking at the launch ceremony, Colonel Nguyen Thanh Liem, Director of the provincial Public Security, called on all officers and soldiers to actively plant trees according to the teachings of beloved Uncle Ho. The provincial Public Security strictly implemented the Prime Minister’s Directive on planting one billion trees in 2021 - 2025.
From the great and humane meaning of tree planting, the Director of the Dak Nong Public Security requested leaders of police units and localities to focus on political and ideological education about the value of planting trees and creating forests.
He directed police units to proactively and regularly organize activities to plant, care for and protect trees, especially units with new headquarters.
Planting trees and forests is a regular and voluntary job of every officer and soldier and each officer and soldier should strive to plant 3 - 5 trees every year.
After the launch ceremony, the Provincial Public Security simultaneously planted and cared for 1,200 trees on the campus of the provincial Public Security headquarters; police of districts and cities; and commune-level police./.
