Lao Prime Minister pays tribute to President Ho Chi Minh

On January 6, 2024, Lao Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone and his spouse arrived in Hanoi, beginning a two-day official visit to Vietnam and co-chairing the 46th meeting of the Vietnam-Laos Inter-Governmental Committee.

The delegation offered flowers and paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his Mausoleum

Previously, Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone, his spouse and the high-ranking delegation of the Lao People's Democratic Republic offered flowers and respectfully commemorated the heroic martyrs at the Monument of Heroic Martyrs in Bac Son street, Ba Dinh district, Hanoi.

The delegation respectfully commemorates heroic martyrs.

This is Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone’s first official visit to Vietnam in his new capacity, at the invitation of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.

With pride and excitement at the very good developments of the Vietnam - Laos relationship, Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone's visit continues to affirm the consistent policies of the two Parties and States that always attach importance to and give the highest priority to consolidating and cultivating the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos./.
