A meeting was recently held by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tan Binh district to review the 5-year implementation of Directive No. 05-CT/TW by the Politburo and honor collectives and individuals for well studying and following Uncle Ho’s example in the periods of 2016 - 2021 and 2020 - 2021.

During the 5 years of implementing Directive No.05-CT/TW by the Politburo, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tan Binh district has organized many activities attracting more than 10,000 participants.
At the same time, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district has mobilized and coordinated with mass organizations to carry out 926 projects, with an estimated cost of over 72.39 billion VND. The committee has had many models and solutions to improve the efficiency of helping poor households to escape poverty quickly and sustainably.
During the 4th outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, the committee has mobilized to raise a fund of over 5.28 billion VND to buy COVID-19 vaccine; receiving, mobilizing and distributing over 151,800 gifts, worth over 43 billion VND in total; and mobilized sponsors to support 71 orphans with a total amount of 678 million.
On this occasion, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district praised 16 collectives and 6 individuals for well studying and following Uncle Ho’s example in the 2016-2021 period, and 5 collectives and 13 individuals for well studying and following Uncle Ho’s example in the period of 2020 - 2021./.
