On January 21, ahead of the traditional Lunar New Year, Ha Nam provincial leaders, representing the Party Committee, authorities, armed forces, and people of the province, paid their respects by offering incense and laying wreaths in memory of President Ho Chi Minh and the heroic martyrs. The ceremony took place at the Provincial Martyrs' Temple, the Shrine of the Ten Female Militia Martyrs of Lam Ha, and the Memorial House of Comrade Luong Khanh Thien (Dinh Trang neighborhood, Lam Ha ward, Phu Ly city).

During the event, the speech emphasized that despite the complex and unpredictable global and regional developments in 2024, coupled with significant domestic challenges, the province achieved stability and development under the close leadership and guidance of the Provincial Party Committee, the People’s Council, and the Provincial People’s Committee. The collective efforts of the political system, the business community, and the provincial population ensured that all 16 of the province's targets were met or exceeded.
Key achievements include a 10.93% increase in gross regional domestic product (GRDP), ranking the province as the fifth fastest-growing in the country. The GRDP per capita reached VND111.16 million. State budget revenues totaled VND19.663 trillion. Industrial production, investment attraction, tourism, and consumer goods and services grew substantially, while agricultural production remained stable. In 2024, Ha Nam was once again honored by the World Tourism Organization as the "Leading Emerging Tourism Destination in Asia" and received the "Special Achievement Award 2024." National defense and security were maintained and strengthened, while cultural and social fields continued to develop. People's living standards improved, and rural and urban areas alike saw significant, comprehensive, and sustainable progress. Social policies, including those for contributors to the nation and military support programs, were effectively implemented.

This act symbolizes the enduring tradition of “remembering the source while drinking water,” as the people of Ha Nam reaffirm their commitment to following President Ho Chi Minh’s Testament and upholding the legacy of the heroic martyrs.
