On January 20, at Ha Khe Beach Park on Nguyen Tat Thanh Street (Da Nang), the Thanh Khe District People's Committee held a ceremony to launch the "Tet Tree Planting Festival in Gratitude to Uncle Ho" for Spring 2025.

Aiming to promote environmental friendliness and meet the criteria of "Green, rapid, and sustainable development," Thanh Khe District focuses on addressing environmental issues in areas such as the Phan Lang open canal, Xuan Hoa A reservoir, Thac Gian-Vinh Trung reservoir, the 2-hectare pond, Bau Lang pond, and along Nguyen Tat Thanh Beach.
Vice Chairman of the Thanh Khe District People's Committee, Do Nguyen Ngoc, stated that over four years of implementation, the district has planted nearly 6,600 trees of various types and over 600 square meters of flowerbeds using both state funds and community mobilization.
In 2025, Thanh Khe District plans to plant an additional 1,500 to 2,000 trees, including 1,112 coconut trees along Nguyen Tat Thanh Beach. Other projects include the development of a leisure garden in the Thuan An area (An Khe Ward) and a park at the site of the relocated plastic factory (Xuan Ha Ward)./.
