Accordingly, it aims to implement Directive No. 9892/CT-BNN-LN dated December 26, 2024 by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development on organizing the movement "Tree planting festival to forever remember Uncle Ho" on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of Snake, strengthening the work of forest management, protection and development in 2025.

To prepare for organizing "Tree planting festival to forever remember Uncle Ho" on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of Snake 2025 in conjunction with implementing Plan No. 3604/KH-UBND dated December 24, 2021 of the Provincial People's Committee on implementing Decision No. 524/QD-TTg dated April 1, 2021 by the Prime Minister approving the Project "Planting one billion trees in the 2021-2025 period" in Ha Nam province, the Ha Nam Provincial People's Committee requests departments, sectors, agencies, units and the People's Committee of districts, towns, city, mass organizations, localities and armed forces to promote communications and education about the purpose and meaning of "Tree Planting Festival"; the People's Committees of districts, towns and city of the province proactively make specific plans, allocate funds and make detailed plans on locations, types of trees, areas and quantity of trees will be planted to ensure the plan of planting 1,120,000 trees in the province in 2025.

The People's Committees of districts, towns and city of the province make plans to organize the "Launching ceremony of tree planting festival on the morning of February 3, 2025 (the 6th day of Lunar New Year Festival of the Snake)

"Tree planting festival" opens the way for the implementation of the State's plan targets in 2025, contributing to protecting the ecological environment, mitigating natural disasters and adapting to climate change./.
