According to the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Long Thanh District Party Committee Huynh Minh Dung, in 2024, Long Thanh organized 4 large-scale mass mobilization campaigns towards the grassroots, mobilizing over 15 billion VND to serve the goals of building advanced new rural areas, model new rural area.

Caring for the people better and better

Long Phuoc commune has made efforts to complete the criteria for model rural areas in 2024. The commune has implemented the contents of studying and following Uncle Ho in each criterion to strive to build a model rural area and model residential area. Thanks to that, the implementation of the criteria for building a model new-style rural commune has been completed and is awaiting the Provincial People's Committee's decision to recognize it. In particular, more than 9.5 billion VND has been invested in infrastructure for the model residential area from the state budget and mobilization among local people to celebrate the Party's Traditional Day of Mass Mobilization in 2024.

According to Secretary of the Long Phuoc Commune Party Committee Mai Thi Hue, from this amount of money, the Party Committee and the government have built a water supply pipeline in Tap Phuoc, Phuoc Hoa, and Hamlet 5; built a concrete road in People's Group 4, Dat Moi Hamlet; installed 20 security surveillance cameras; installed 23 pairs of trash bins to classify waste at source; 5 sets of outdoor sports equipment.

As a locality with a large number of ethnic minorities, Tan Hiep commune is making efforts to complete the criteria for a model new rural area. In particular, studying and following Uncle Ho is deployed by local cadres and party members in each specific task and goal of the locality.

Linked with breakthrough goals

The implementation of studying and following Uncle Ho has also been effectively applied by the Long Thanh District Party Committee, creating motivation in implementing well four breakthrough goals according to the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term.

For example, in the breakthrough in strengthening discipline and order in the Party; promoting the vanguard role of Party members and the responsibility of heads of Party committees, authorities, agencies, departments, branches, socio-political organizations, the results of the exemplary classification show that the majority of cadres, Party members, and heads are annually assessed to have completed their tasks well and excellently. Cadres, especially key cadres, truly set an example in words, actions, and lifestyles.

Studying and following Uncle Ho also has a strong impact on the breakthrough goal of building advanced new-style rural areas and model new-style rural areas. By the end of 2024, 12 per 13 communes in Long Thanh district meet advanced new-style rural standards. Bau Can Commune is submitting to the Provincial People's Committee for appraisal and recognition of meeting advanced new rural area standards.

Long Thanh District Party Committee Standing Deputy Secretary Huynh Minh Dung said that Directive 05-CT/TW dated May 15, 2016 of the Politburo; Conclusion 01-KL/TW dated May 18, 2021 of the Politburo and other guiding documents of the Central and the province determined that studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle has become a regular task in every job and daily task of each cadre, party member and people of all walks of life.

Therefore, effectively implementing this task is one of the important solutions for Party building and rectification work and, more broadly, for building Vietnamese culture and people. The results of implementing the socio-economic development goals, ensuring national defense and security of the district in the past time, especially in 2024, have affirmed this./.
