Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Dao Khanh Ha, Head of the Hai Phong City Party Committee’s Department of Popularization and Education, proposed that the Department of Culture and Sports, the Department of Information and Communications; districts, and party committees of districts create conditions for artists, reporters, officials and party members to make field trips to create works; and organize to communicate the purpose, significance, requirements, content and scale of awards to encourage and attract the attention and response of all classes of people, intellectuals in and outside the city.

Candidates of the emulation are individuals, organizations, writers, artists, journalists, researchers, cultural activities, party members and people inside and outside the city.

Entries, which must be new and collected works that have been published into books, photojournalism, or recorded music, are about advanced examples of good people and good deeds in all fields in the process of studying and following Uncle Ho's thought, morality and style.

Entrants must be responsible for the copyright of their entries and have been published in the mass media (press works) or displayed or performed (architecture, fine art, music).

The deadline for the emulation is divided into two phases.

The first phase will end on September 30, 2022, and the second phase will end on September 30, 2024. The prize structure has one A prize, two B prizes, three C prizes and five consolation prizes.

The entries will be sent to the Department of Culture, Arts and Public Opinion under Hai Phong City Party Committee’s Department of Popularization and Education at No. 128 Lach Tray, Ngo Quyen District, Hai Phong City./.
