Learning and following Uncle Ho's example in conjunction with implementing the Project on developing applications of population data, identification and electronic authentication to serve national digital transformation in the period of 2022-2025, with a vision to 2030 (Project 06), Nam Dinh City has deployed plans; directed departments, offices, units, political organizations, unions, wards and communes to resolutely implement.

As a result, the city has effectively implemented 52 tasks according to the direction of the Provincial People's Committee and departments, branches and sectors. Currently, the city has completed 100% of administrative procedures related to household registration books, temporary residence books, confirmation of information at the place of residence; Issued 340,549 electronic chip-embedded identification cards, activated more than 213,547 level 2 electronic identification accounts.

Since December 25, 2023, 66,262 citizens have undergone medical examination and treatment using chip-embedded identification cards integrated with health insurance; 100% of educational institutions in the city have implemented cashless tuition collection.
