It is an attractive destination for people and tourists from all over the world when visiting President Ho Chi Minh's hometown.
The temple was built to worship relatives of Uncle Ho. The project has profound cultural and spiritual values, showing the people's respect and gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh's ancestors, demonstrating the nation's morality of drinking water and remembering its source. The project was inaugurated on the occasion of the 130th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2020).
Chung Son Temple is a tribute to and eternal memory of the great merits of President Ho Chi Minh and his relatives, meeting the earnest desire of the people of Nghe An and the whole country to admire and pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh and his relatives.
This is also the first completed project, playing a consistent role in connecting famous landmarks and relics associated with Vietnamese celebrities such as the great poet Nguyen Du, patriots of Phan Dinh Phung, Phan Boi Chau; connecting intangible cultural heritages of humanity such as Vi and Giam folk songs; connecting the quintessence of Vietnamese culinary culture.
The temple has 18 construction items, including: main temple,
bell house, drum house, the three-door gate, stone screen and so on.
