On January 8, the Can Gio District Public Security in Ho Chi Minh City held a ceremony to inaugurate the Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space. This project aims to enhance the effectiveness of studying and following President Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style, making these practices a way of life and a cultural foundation for officers and soldiers of the People’s Public Security Force. It also contributes to building a clean and strong District Public Security Party Committee.

Colonel Truong Thanh Trieu, Party Secretary and Head of Can Gio District Public Security, shared that the Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space was initiated on November 13, 2024. After nearly two months of construction, the project was completed and is now operational. The unit refurbished a 160-square-meter office space on the third floor of the Command Office building, transforming it into a Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space that also serves as a part of the district public security’s traditional room.
The project includes a statue of President Ho Chi Minh and related memorial items, a bookshelf dedicated to Ho Chi Minh’s works, and displays of photos, documents, books, and newspapers about his life and revolutionary activities. It also features teachings from President Ho Chi Minh, examples of outstanding individuals and good deeds, and materials documenting the establishment and development of the Can Gio District Public Security since 1975. Additionally, it highlights images of district public security leaders across various periods.
Nguyen Phuoc Hung, Secretary of the Can Gio District Party Committee, congratulated and commended the efforts of the Can Gio District Public Security for completing the project, which was funded through the voluntary contributions of officers and soldiers. He emphasized the significance of the Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space in educating officers and soldiers about the exemplary values of earlier generations. He expressed his hope that the space would remain a warm and inviting place that officers and soldiers frequently visit. He also suggested it be used to host events that provide political and ideological education for the district public security force./.
