Activities to mark the 130th Uncle’s birthday in Hanoi

Hanoi is expected to coordinate with relevant ministries and agencies to organize the national celebration on May 19th to mark the 130th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s birth. 

The Standing Committee of Hanoi city Party Committee requires that commemorative activities should be organized solemnly and effectively with specific, practical, abundant and diversified contents, suitable to the practical situation.

These activities will contribute to creating an exciting atmosphere, emulation and a positive and clear change in the performance of political tasks of all levels, sectors and organizations from the city to the grassroots.

The requirement is in a plan issued by the Standing Committee of Hanoi city Party Committee on April 15th on organizing the 130th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth (May 19th).

According to the plan, activities will help people realize and deeply acknowledge the great merits and great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh. Minh to the revolutionary career of Vietnam; affirm that Hanoi capital had the honor and pride to be the place where Uncle Ho lived and worked for the longest and also the place that Uncle had special feelings.

They will contribute to consolidating and fostering people's confidence in the Party; encourage patriotic emulation movement, determined to successfully implement the Resolution of the 16th Hanoi city Party Congress and the Resolution of the 12th National Party Congress, and successfully organize the Party Congress at all levels towards to the 13th National Party Congress./.
