The Standing Board of the Hai Phong City Party Committee has held a conference to review the 5-year implementation of the Politburo’s Directive 05 and realize the special subject of promoting studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s teachings.
Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia, Secretary of the Party Central Committee (PCC), Head of the PCC’s Commission of Popularization and Education, and Mr. Le Hai Binh, PCC alternate member, and Deputy Head of the PCC’s Commission of Popularization and Education, attended the conference.

After 5 years of implementing Directive 05 of the Politburo, the Hai Phong Party Committee has achieved important and clear results in many fields. The City Party Committee and Party Executive Committees at all levels have focused on putting the implementation of the Directive into the Resolution, program and plan of realizing the Resolution of the 12th National Party Congress and the Resolution of the 15th Hai Phong Party Congress closely associated with the implementation of the Resolution of the 4th Party Central Committee meeting (term XI and XII).
The studying and following of Uncle Ho’s teachings of each cadre and party member has become more and more orderly, creating a clear change in Party building work in terms of politics, ideology and morality. The leadership method of the City Party Committee and Party Executive Committees at all levels saw many innovations.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia acknowledged the important results of Hai Phong in implementing Directive 05 in various ways; creating strong and positive changes that have far-reaching effects in the entire Party Committee and people of the city.
Regarding the tasks in the coming time, he suggested that the Hai Phong Party Committee and Party Executive Committees at all levels, authorities, agencies and units should promote the achievements in recent years, while asking them to continue to further promote studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style.
On this occasion, 2 collectives and 4 individuals were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Prime Minister. The City People’s Committee awarded certificates of merit to 57 collectives and 97 individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing Directive 05./.
