Along with the movement “Promoting qualities, dedicating talents, worthy of Uncle Ho's army”, enhancing studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style in accordance with Directive 05 of the Politburo was thoroughly grasped by the Sam Son City Military Command and realized with high results.
Over the past 5 years, the City Military Party Committee developed and issued 1 operating regulation, 6 plans, and 2 official dispatches on the implementation of Directive 05. Annually, all cell branches and party members register contents of studying and following Uncle Ho, thereby raising awareness and responsibility of cadres and party members in training and working.
The City Military Party Committee has organized flexible and diverse forms of study and research. The content of studying and following Uncle Ho is included in regular activities of party organizations. Thereby, the implementation of Directive 05 was realized in monthly leadership resolutions, promoting the exemplary role of cadres and party members in performing tasks.
Senior Lieutenant Colonel Le Van Khoi, Commissar of the Sam Son City Military Command, said the unit has achieved a number of breakthrough contents in studying and following Uncle Ho, such as: Focusing on leadership, improving the quality of political tasks, especially giving advice to the City Party Committee and the City People’s Committee to develop annual defense tasks; improve the quality of cadres; focusing on leading and successfully implementing the contents of Directive 05 in association with Resolution of the 4th PCC meeting to improve the leadership quality of party cells and party committees.
On the occasion of Thanh Hoa’s 5-year summary of Directive 05, the Sam Son City Military Command was honoured among 45 collectives for outstanding achievements in studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style. This is recognition and encouragement for each cadre, party member and soldier of the unit to continue promoting the qualities of Uncle Ho’s army, making more contributions to the cause of building and defending the homeland./.
