The Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Public Security Youth Union has held a ceremony to honour advanced youths who follow Uncle Ho's teachings.

The event was attended by nearly 100 typical members of the city public security sector.
At the ceremony, 40 youth union members with outstanding performance in their tasks were presented certificates of merit.
The move aims to be part of celebrating the 131st birth anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890) and the 110th anniversary of Uncle Ho’s departure to find the way to save the country (June 5, 1911).
It was expected to educate cadres and youth union members and raise their profound awareness of patriotic tradition, national pride, and belief in the leadership of the Party and President Ho Chi Minh in the cause of national construction and development.
In addition, the event offered opportunity to honour, commend and replicate typical examples in the implementation of Directive 05-CT/TW dated May 15, 2016 of the Politburo on studying and following the ideology, morality and style of President Ho Chi Minh, in combination with the emulation movement of the People’s Public Security forces learning and following the 6 things Uncle Ho taught./.
