The 131st birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2021) was marked by the Consulate General of Vietnam in China’s Kunming

The event included a meeting and a visit to the
relics, Uncle Ho's residence in Kunming city.
Speaking at the meeting, Vietnamese Consul
General Nguyen Trung Hieu expressed his gratitude and love to the great leader
of Vietnam; honoured his good example in revolutionary activity and life;
reviewed the close relations between President Ho Chi Minh and outstanding
leaders of China such as President Mao Zedong, Prime Minister Zhou Enlai.
In the warm atmosphere of the meeting,
representatives of the Vietnamese community in Yunnan province shared memories
of meeting Uncle Ho, and their deep feelings toward the old father of the
nation.
Within the framework of the celebration, all
participants visited the relic of Uncle Ho’s residence at No. 89-91 in Nam Hoa
Son street, Kunming city, and further learned about the revolutionary activity
process of President Ho Chi Minh.
The activities marking the 131st
birthday of Uncle Ho contributed to strengthening and fostering the faith of
the Vietnamese community in Yunnan province with the Party and State, promoting
the strength of national unity towards the Fatherland./.
