On June 8, the People's Committee of Hau Giang province held a conference to honor advanced examples to celebrate the 75th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's appeal for patriotic emulation.
On this occasion, 133 advanced examples in many fields, professions, economic sectors and people's classes received the Certificate of Merit from the Chairperson of the Provincial People's Committee.
Mr. Dong Van Thanh, Chairman of Hau Giang Provincial People's Committee, said that over the past time, patriotic emulation movements in the province have developed deeply.
Emulation movements are a great leverage and spiritual motivation to encourage all people to promote actively and creatively, thus overcoming all difficulties and challenges, contributing to promoting socio-economic development, maintaining security and order, making Hau Giang province develop more and more quickly and sustainably.
“We are really proud of the noble deeds of the advanced examples mentioned in the report. I firmly believe that along with the 133 advanced examples praised today, there are many other silent examples who are contributing in many fields and professions that need to be discovered, spread and replicated," said Mr. Thanh./.
