On June 3, an art programme to mark 75 years since President Ho Chi Minh issued an appeal for patriotic emulation (1948-2023) and the newspaper’s 35th anniversary (1988-2023) took place at Hanoi Opera House.

The event entitled “Glory Fatherland Vietnam” was held by the Dai Bieu Nhan Dan (People's Deputies) Newspaper to encourage and duplicate patriotic emulation movements in the way President Ho Chi Minh did 75 years ago.
It saw the participation of National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue and leaders of National Assembly, Government, Fatherland Front, ministries, and sectors.
Through the performances of popular singers such as Thanh Lam, Tan Nhan, Anh Tho, Le Anh Dung and Thang Loi, the songs and dances at the programme praised great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh and paid tribute to the services of those who laid down their lives for peace and national independence.
A reportage entitled ‘Targeting a strong Vietnam’ was also screened at the event, highlighting the joint actions of the Vietnamese Party, Government, National Assembly, army, and people for the further development of Vietnam./.
