Over the past 5 years, a majority of cadres and Party members, especially heads in the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong, have been fully aware of their responsibilities in setting examples in studying and following Uncle Ho’s ethical example, in order to realise their assigned missions.
The assessment was announced during a meeting held by the provincial Party Committee on August 23rd to review the implementation of the Politburo Directive 03 (term XI) on studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ethical example over the past 5 years, and carrying out the Politburo Directive 05 (term XII) on increasing the studying and following of President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style.

According to the provincial Party Committee, thanks to the implementation of Directive 03, a wide range of effective and creative models have been carried out, including those to serve the people, protect the environment, eliminate poverty and build happy families.
As a result, nearly 2,400 collectives and individuals have been honoured as outstanding followers of President Ho Chi Minh’s ethical example.
Addressing the meeting, Vo Van Thuong, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee (PCC) and Head of the PCC Commission on Popularization and Education, appreciated the results in the province, stressing that President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style is the convergence of the nation’s good tradition, the cultural quintessence of the humankind, the invaluable spiritual asset of the Party and the people, and a bright example for Vietnamese people to follow.
He urged the provincial Party Committee to focus on renewing the studying of plans for the following of President Ho Chi Minh’s ethical example; and heads of agencies to lead in the campaign for the others to follow.
According to the PCC Commission leader, plans for studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style should be made annually in connection with the implementation of PCC resolutions on Party building and emulation movements, contributing to realising the 12th National Party Congress and the province’s 10th Party Congress resolutions.
During the meeting, 10 collectives and individuals received certificates of merit from the Prime Minister and 36 received certificates of merit from the provincial People’s Committee for their excellent achievements in realising Directive 03./.
