A display of over 600 documents, books, newspapers and magazines relating to President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology and revolutionary career; and an exhibition on President Ho Chi Minh’s image in cinematographic works, were organized in Ho Chi Minh city on September 30.

Lasting until October 12, the display and exhibition aim to bring the audience a profound and interesting view on President Ho Chi Minh.
Accordingly, the exhibition introduces to the public over 130 pictures and film posters on Uncle Ho’s activities recorded through documentary films and cinematographic works.
In addition, two films on Uncle Ho which won the Golden Lotus title at the 1980 and 1990 Vietnam Film Festival were screened during the exhibition.
According to Bui Xuan Duc, Director of the General Sciences Library of Ho Chi Minh city, the display and exhibition helps introduce widely the documents, publications, precious images and artistic cinematographic works relating to President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology and great revolutionary career, thus contributing to educating the public on patriotism and national pride, especially the young generation.
Mr. Vu Nguyen Hung, Director of the Vietnam Film Institute, said that President Ho Chi Minh is a big topic of literature and art. Uncle Ho's image is the creative inspiration of generations of Vietnamese writers and artists and many international friends./.
