More than 600 documents, books, newspapers and magazines relating to President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology and revolutionary career are on display at an exhibition which opened in Ho Chi Minh City on September 30.

On this occasion, film posters on Uncle Ho’s activities recorded through documentary films and cinematographic works are also introduced.
Two films on Uncle Ho which won the Golden Lotus title at the 1980 and 1990 Vietnam Film Festival were screened during the exhibition.
According to Bui Xuan Duc, Director of the General Sciences Library of Ho Chi Minh city, the display and exhibition helps introduce widely the documents, publications, precious images and artistic cinematographic works relating to President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology and great revolutionary career, thus contributing to educating the public on patriotism and national pride, especially the young generation.
Mr. Vu Nguyen Hung, Director of the Vietnam Film Institute, said that President Ho Chi Minh is a big topic of literature and art. Uncle Ho's image is the creative inspiration of generations of Vietnamese writers and artists and many international friends.
The exhibition will run until October 12./.
