The statue “Uncle Ho with border soldiers” was inaugurated on September 2 at the campus of the Bo Heng border station in the Central Highlands province of Dak Lak.

Built with concrete and steel, the statue brings the image of Uncle Ho with a border soldier.
The project, using some VND500 million sponsored by the South Central Highlands Oil and Petrol Company, the Dak Lak Power Company, the Lam Dong provincial Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Buon Ma Thuot city Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, was carried out by cadres and soldiers in the Bo Heng border station within 4 months.
The statue aimed to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day (September 2); the 40th anniversary of the Bo Heng border station; the Dak Lak provincial Party Congress term 2020-2025 and the 13th National Party Congress.
Apart from beautifying the Bo Heng border station campus and serving political and cultural events, the statue helps cadres and soldiers to unite in overcoming difficulties and practicing to protect the national border./.
