Central province organizes photo contest on following Uncle Ho's teachings

The event was attended by representatives of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists, the Nghe An Party Committee Commission for Popularization and Education, Nghe An Journalists Association and members of the organizing board.

The photo contest, co-organized by the provincial Culture Center and Nghe An Journalists Association, was officially launched from May 19, 2019.

It aims to popularize and celebrate the 130th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh and major holidays in 2019, 2020, and towards the 19th Nghe An Party Congress and the 13th National Party Congress.

Contestants are all professional and amateur photographers in Nghe An, and other invited photographers in northern central region.

The submitted photos must reflect the achievements of Nghe An in all fields: economics, politics, culture-society, national defense-security and foreign affairs.

After more than one year, the organizers received 230 works from 31 contestants.

Through three rounds, the jury selected 13 works to award, including 3 second prizes, 4 third prizes and 6 consolation prizes.

The awards ceremony is expected to be held in early September 2020./.
