The activity, part of the program to plant 1 million trees across Vietnam, aimed to show gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh, look forward to protect and promote the national historic and cultural tradition, and preserve natural beauty for the next generations.

Started by Vinamilk and VEA in 2012, the program targets to improve the living environment for people in residential areas, commemorative areas, relic sites, public places, schools and corners affected by climate change.

Accordingly, it has helped plant more than 480,700 trees worth nearly VND7 billion across 20 localities, receiving the participation of over 10,000 volunteers, bringing practical benefit to communities.

In the near future, trees will continue to be planted at the Vung Ro relic site in Phu Yen province and the Phu My Species and Habitat Conservation Area in Kien Giang province./.
