At the event held on March 9, the delegation listened to a ranger telling simple but touching stories about President Ho Chi Minh.
Accordingly, during his lifetime, Uncle Ho wanted his ashes when he died to be placed in three locations of the country, including one at Ba Vi Mountain. Therefore, the idea of building a temple to Uncle Ho here according to his will was raised and immediately received a warm response. In March 1999, the temple was started on a plot at an altitude of 1,296 meters, the highest peak of the Ba Vi range.
The research process to bring a brass statue of Uncle Ho with a weight of 1 ton to the top of the mountain without cutting down trees and causing deforestation was conducted in accordance with his will. Despite countless difficulties, in the end the construction of Uncle Ho's Temple on the top of the sacred Ba Vi Mountain was completed in August 1999, five months after the inauguration.

Today, the Uncle Ho’s Temple relic site attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors each year, becoming a spiritual and tourism destination for tourists nationwide. On Uncle Ho's birthday (May 19), National Day (September 2) or the beginning of the Lunar New Year, many tourists come to the temple to offer incense to Uncle Ho./.
