The Thung Nham Ecotourism Area in the northern province of Ninh Binh handed over more than 500 lanterns to the Kim Lien Special National Monument on May 9 on the occasion of the 134th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890-2024).
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Pham Cong Chat, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Doanh Sinh Tourism and Trading Services Joint Stock Company, Thung Nham Ecotourism Area expressed the desire to donate a lantern system to create an attractive space on the route to the monument.
Officials and employees of the Kim Lien Special National Monument and Thung Nham Ecotourism Area took souvenir photos on the “lantern road”.
With all the enthusiasm and eternal gratitude to beloved Uncle Ho, the great leader of the nation, the staff and employees hand-crafted more than 500 wooden lanterns, with lotus motifs from Uncle Ho’s hometown, for over one month to give the Kim Lien Special National Monument on the occasion of the 134th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh.
At the ceremony, leaders of the Department of Culture and Sports hoped that Thung Nham Ecotourism Area would continue to have activities accompanying the work of preserving, embellishing and promoting the value of the Kim Lien Special National Monument./.
