On May 6, the Son La Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and Fatherland Front and working delegations from the Ministry of National Defence and Bac Lieu province offered flowers to commemorate Uncle Ho at the Uncle Ho monument with groups of people in the Northwest and offered incense at Uncle Ho's Temple at Northwest Square, Son La city.

The activity aimed to mark the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu victory (May 7), 65 years since Uncle Ho and the Central Working Group visited and talked with people in the Northwest in Son La (May 7); 5 years since inauguration of Uncle Ho monument with groups of people in the Northwest and 134 years of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19).
In a solemn atmosphere, Son La provincial leaders and the Working Group of the Ministry of National Defense and Bac Lieu province expressed their gratitude and infinite gratefulness for the great contributions of Uncle Ho, the great teacher of the Vietnamese revolution, the beloved leader of the nation, the founder of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
The delegation members promised Uncle Ho to maintain and promote revolutionary traditions; forever follow the revolutionary path chosen by the Party and Uncle Ho, continue to promote studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style; uphold political determination, overcome difficulties and challenges, successfully complete all assigned tasks, and build Son La province to become increasingly rich and beautiful./.
