The People’s Committee of Luong Son district (Hoa Binh province) and the District Party Committee’s Commission of Popularization and Education have just coordinated to organize the contest “Uncle Ho with Luong Son, Luong Son studies and follows Uncle Ho” with the participation of 11 teams and nearly 200 contestants.

The teams participated in four contents: Greeting, knowledge competition, art competition, and explanation competition. The explanation competition was held at the memorial house of Uncle Ho at the relic site of Uncle Ho’s visit, Lam Son commune.
Competitions were invested in and elaborately staged with outstanding performances and high artistry, bringing viewers many emotions about beloved Uncle Ho.
After a day of the contest, the organizers presented the first prize to the Tan Vinh commune team, while Luong Son town and Thanh Son commune shared the second prize; Thanh Cao, Lien Son, and Cu Yen communes shared the third prize.
The contest is one of the activities to celebrate the 66th anniversary of Uncle Ho’s visit to Chi Hoa Production Group (October 19, 1958 - 2024). It is expected to continue to arouse the excitement, confidence and pride of cadres, party members and people of all walks of life; determined to compete in studying and following Uncle Ho’s ideology, morality and style, contributing to building Luong Son district into a rich and civilized district.
The contest also aims to discover and select excellent tour guides, establishing a unit to guide and explain for visits at the memorial house of Uncle Ho at the relic site of Uncle Ho’s visit to Chi Hoa Production Group./.
