Speaking at the event, Vice Chairwoman of the District 7 Labor Federation Nguyen Thi Hong Sen stated that the District 7 Labor Federation aims to spread and promote the study and implementation of President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style among the district's officials, civil servants and workers. To that end, the Standing Committee of the District 7 Labor Federation took the initiative to design, construct and decorate the Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space, combined with a traditional room at the headquarters of the District 7 Labor Cultural House. After a period of collection, design and construction, the space is now complete, with an implementation cost of nearly VND50 million.
In the future, the District 7 Labor Federation will continue to build a "Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space" online in four languages: Vietnamese, English, Korean and Chinese, and will extend this initiative to all officials, civil servants and workers.
Ms Sen further shared that the Standing Committee of the District 7 Labor Federation has coordinated with Thien Phap Commercial and Service Joint Stock Company to establish a "Member Welfare Point of Sale" at the District 7 Labor Cultural House. This initiative aims to support workers by providing essential daily goods at discounted prices, ranging from 5% to 30% below market prices. This effort helps ease the financial burdens of workers, enhances member welfare, and actively responds to the campaign "Vietnamese People Prioritize Using Vietnamese Goods." In addition to on-site services, the welfare point will also provide mobile services at businesses and rental areas with large numbers of workers.
On this occasion, the District 7 Labor Federation distributed 400 vouchers for essential goods, worth a total of VND40 million, to 400 union members and workers in difficult circumstances./.
