Having become a good and meaningful practice on every Lunar New Year Festival, the Hanoi Police usually implement a tree planting plan and launch the "Tree Planting Festival" movement, in order to communicate and promote the people's good traditions in the tree planting movement, forest planting, contributing to protecting the environment and building a "Green, Clean and Beautiful" capital. The movement also helps each police officer and soldier of the Hanoi Police to be deeply aware of the meaning of the movement "Tree planting festival in gratitude to Uncle Ho".

Speaking at the event, Lieutenant General Nguyen Hai Trung, member of the Standing Board of the Hanoi Party Committee, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee and Director of the Hanoi Police, emphasized that over the past time, the Hanoi Party Committee and Hanoi People's Committee has always focused on the task of environmental protection and building the "Green, clean and beautiful" capital. Every year, the city plants millions of new trees and fruit trees on streets and roads. Tree planting has been paid attention, focused and increasingly scientifically planned, contributing to changing the landscape of many roads and streets.

Responding to the city's movement, Lieutenant General Nguyen Hai Trung said that all officers and soldiers of the Hanoi Police always thoroughly grasp the meaning of planting trees, especially in the context of environmental pollution and global climate change seriously affecting people's lives. Many officers, soldiers and units have also responded to the movement and planted more trees in the area and in their residence.

On behalf of the Hanoi Party Committee and Board of Directors of the Hanoi Police, Lieutenant General Nguyen Hai Trung suggested that all officers and soldiers of the units continue to thoroughly grasp the purpose and meaning of tree planting and effectively implement this activity.

At the same time, it has widely communicated to the people about the role, great effects, as well as long-term, comprehensive benefits and human values of tree planting and launched the movement "tree planting festival in gratitude to Uncle Ho" so that tree planting and care is carried out strongly in both quantity and quality at all units and areas of the city./.
