Some 100,000 trees planted in Ba Vi National Park

A ceremony to launch a tree-planting festival to express eternal gratitude to Uncle Ho has been held at the Ba Vi National Park in Ba Vi district, Hanoi.

Mr. Mac Quoc Anh, Director of the Institute of Economics and Business Development, Vice President and General Secretary of the Hanoi Association of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, said that through the program, the organizers want to encourage entrepreneurs, businesses and individuals to join hands to plant more trees, bringing great benefits to the country.

He said that the program is implemented with the goal of preserving the nature, biodiversity and environment of Ba Vi National Park. The program has been allowed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to plant 100 hectares, equivalent to 100,000 trees, from Cai Spring in Ba Vi commune to Trung Temple area in Minh Quang commune, Ba Vi district.

Meritorious Artist Nguyen Xuan Bac, Director of the Vietnam Drama Theater, plays the role of Program Ambassador. The program has received the support and companionship of many individuals, organizations and businesses with a value of more than 1 billion VND./.
