A ceremony was held for a delegation of talented youth winning the Golden Globe Science and Technology Award for the period 2003 - 2023 to report their achievements to President Ho Chi Minh at his Mausoleum in Hanoi on October 27.

The event was attended by Ngo Van Cuong, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, leaders of Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, leaders of units under the Ministry of Science and Technology, and 60 delegates who are young talents winning the Golden Globe Science and Technology Award for the period 2003 – 2023.
On behalf of the delegation, Associate Professor, Dr. Dao Viet Hang, Deputy Director of the Endoscopy Center under the Hanoi Medical University Hospital, reported to Uncle Ho the outstanding achievements in implementing the youth information technology award project named Golden Globe in order to honor outstanding young talents nationwide in the field of information technology. In the period of 2003 - 2023 young talents from all provinces, cities, industries, agencies, businesses, and scientific organizations at home and abroad have won the Golden Globe Science and Technology Award.
Many valuable scientific works with practical applications help solve urgent problems of social life, affirming the position of Vietnamese science and technology in the international arena; at the same time, they also spread passion, creative spirit, and commitment in science to the young generation.
Along with that, the Vietnam Science and Technology Female Student Award was awarded to 20 outstanding female students, representing examples of study, research and training across the country in a number of specific science and technology fields, contribute to training female staff, and promoting gender equality in science and technology.
In front of President Ho Chi Minh, the delegation pledged to continuously study and practice to improve political bravery, quality, and capacity; actively follow President Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, style and his thoughtful teachings for the younger generation, bringing the country's science and technology on par with the advanced science and technology of countries in the region and around the world, contributing to building and developing a prosperous and happy country./.
