The festivals include the Southern Liberation Day (April 30th), May Day, Dien Bien Phu victory (May 7th), President Ho Chi Minh’s birthday (May 19th) and 2017 National Tourism Year.
The film screenings will take place at cinemas in provinces and cities nationwide, from April 25th to May 23rd, 2017.

On this occasion, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism also permitted the Danish Embassy in Vietnam to organize the Danish Film Festival 2017, in Hue from May 26th to 28th and in Da Nang city from June 2nd to 4th. The event will promote friendship and solidarity between the two countries, and create opportunity to introduce and popularize Danish cinema to Vietnamese audiences./.
