The seminar also marks the 90 th  anniversary of the work “Duong Kach Menh” (1927-2017).

"Duong Kach Menh" collects lectures by Nguyen Ai Quoc at training courses for the staff of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Youth League, held in Guangzhou, China, during the years of 1925-1927. The lectures were collected and published in a book in 1927 by the Ministry of Propaganda of the Union of Oppressed Oriental Nations

The book has the significance and role as a guideline for Vietnam’s revolutionary line. It contains great theoretical and practical values, which play an important role in propagating Marxism-Leninism in Vietnam, combining patriotic movements with Marxism, creating the ideological and argument premises for the establishment of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

In particular, it has become one of five works of President Ho Chi Minh recognized as National Treasures.

Speaking at the seminar, Assoc. Dr. Tran Hoang Ngan, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Cadre Academy, emphasized that the seminar aimed to confirm the theoretical and practical values of President Ho Chi Minh's "Duong Kach Menh" for the cause of Vietnam’s revolution and the cause of Party building and rectification in the current condition.

At the event, the delegates presented many heartfelt speeches, expressing different perspectives to deepen the enduring values of “Duong Kach Menh”, especially the significance of the work in association with the implementation of Politburo’s Directive 05 on "Promoting study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideas, ethics and style”.

Head of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Commission for Popularization and Education Than Thi Thu affirmed “Duong Kach Menh” is worthy of its stature as a "National Treasure" that President Ho Chi Minh left for the Party, revolutionary movement and the people./.
