Minister Mauro Vieira was introduced to the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh, especially the years he lived and worked in the Presidential Palace area.
To the Vietnamese people, President Ho Chi Minh is a true patriot, wise revolutionary and genius leader. To international friends, he is a close friend of the peoples of the world.
His life and revolutionary career are not only associated with the glorious history of the Vietnamese people, but also contribute to the common struggle of peoples for peace, independence, democracy and social progress.
The relic site management board introduced to the Brazilian Foreign Minister the relics, documents and artifacts associated with the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh from 1954 to 1969.
The Brazilian Foreign Minister was pleased to visit Vietnam and learn about the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh and the years he lived and worked at the Presidential Palace Relic.
The Minister also wrote in the visitors’ book to share about the visit, expressing his admiration for the resilient and strong President Ho Chi Minh of the Vietnamese people, who he said was a great inspiration.
President Ho Chi Minh, on his journey to save the country, came to Brazil in 1912. That was the beginning of the relationship between the two countries, although it was not until 1989 that the two countries established diplomatic relations.
In addition to the similar history of fighting for national independence, Vietnam and Brazil also have close similarities in thinking, development models and human values.
The Brazilian people and all the peace-loving people of Latin America gave their solidarity and sincere support for Vietnam’s resistance war to unify the country, post-war reconstruction and Doi Moi (renewal) process./.
