The Department of Grassroots Culture under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with a department of the Ministry of Public Security to launch a contest to mark the 50th anniversary of southern liberation and national unification (April 30) and the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s birth (May 19).
The contest aims to widely disseminate the nation's historical, cultural and revolutionary traditions, affirming the correct and wise leadership of the Party and President Ho Chi Minh.
The contest also aims to provide information related to President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, life, revolutionary cause and his great contributions to the glorious revolutionary cause of the Party and people of Vietnam.
The contest also aims to promote creative capacity, attract and encourage authors to compose new propaganda theater scripts with high artistic value to mark the national celebrations associated with promoting studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics and style.
The contest is open to professional and non-professional Vietnamese authors in the country and overseas Vietnamese, with no restrictions on age or occupation.
The contest’s Organizing Committee will receive entries via electronic file via email vnqc.vhcs@gmail.com or entries can be sent directly by post to the Department of Management of Mass Cultural Activities, Department of Grassroots Culture at 51 Ngo Quyen street, Hanoi./.
