An art programme which highlighted President Ho Chi Minh’s great contributions to national revolutionary cause and as well as Vietnamese people’s respect and sentiment to him took place in Ho Chi Minh City on June 5.

The event was held to mark the 55-year implementation of President Ho Chi Minh’s Testament (1969-2024), the 134th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s birthday (May 19, 1890-2024), and the 113 years since Uncle Ho left the country to search for a way to save the nation (June 5, 1911-2024).
The programme, which were elaborately staged, was divided into three parts.
Various famous artists and singers including People’s Artists Thanh Dien and Ta Minh Tam; Meritorious Artists Van Khanh and Pham The Vi; and singers Quang Linh, Ho Trung Dung, Pham Trang, Thanh Nguyen, Duyen Huyen and Vo Thanh Tam, participated in the performance.
For the Vietnamese people and oppressed peoples around the world, President Ho Chi Minh’s life and career is very close and extremely great. He devoted himself to the independence and freedom of the Fatherland and the lasting happiness of the people./.
