The figure was released on May 23 at a meeting reviewing the implementation of Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space in the education and training sector, where representatives from schools shared many good models and ideas in building a Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space.
During the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Kim Luyen, Deputy Head of the Political and Ideological Department, Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, said that building the Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space is one of the key tasks in political education during the school year.
Previously, from the 2022-2023 school year, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City directed school units to build school culture, which promotes education for revolutionary ideals, morality and lifestyle among students.
Specifically, the entire sector has more than 1,418 models and physical works displayed at schools, serving the teaching and learning of various subjects, thereby educating students about the tradition of patriotism and national pride.
Appreciating the initiative and creativity of schools in building Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space, Director of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training Nguyen Van Hieu said that activities need to promote substantive effectiveness and avoid waste.
In particular, it is necessary to educate students to start from the smallest things such as following Uncle Ho’s five teachings, and educate them about patriotic traditions and national pride./.
