The three more volumes of the Complete Works of Ho Chi Minh, which introduce works by President Ho Chi Minh from 1947 to 1948; from January, 1951 to October, 1952; and from January 1953 to July 1954, have been translated into Laos.
The translation of the fifth, seventh, and eighth volumes has carried out as part of the project carried out by the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and the Lao National Academy of Politics and Public Administration.

The project is part of the 2014 cooperation agreement on economy, culture, and science and technology between the Vietnamese and Lao governments.
The Complete Works reflect the intellectual genius of the President and his profound understanding gained during his journey to seek the best way to save the country, and as he led the Vietnamese revolution from victory to victory.
The ceremony to introduce the three volumes has taken place at the Lao National Academy of Politics and Public Administration.
According to Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang, Chairman of the Central Theory Council and General Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, the project on the translation of the Complete Works of Ho Chi Minh and dictionary on the study of Ho Chi Minh has special significance. It follows the spirit of the resolutions of the 12th Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) and the 10th Congress of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party, which affirm the thoughts of Presidents Ho Chi Minh and Kaysone Phomvihane as the ideological foundations and guidelines for the revolution of the two countries./.
