Delegation of Lao Committee for Peace and Solidarity pays tribute to President Ho Chi Minh

The delegation, led by Sommad Pholsena, member of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly of the Lao People's Democratic Republic and Chairman of the Lao Committee for Peace and Solidarity, is paying  a working visit to Vietnam from October 4 to 9, 2022.

During the visit, the delegation held alks with leaders of the Vietnam Peace Committee, visited a number of revolutionary relics, Uncle Ho's Temple, the Peace Committee relic site at the revolutionary base in northern Thai Nguyen and Tuyen Quang provinces.

The visit was made to celebrate the Vietnam – Laos, Laos – Vietnam Friendship and Solidarity Year 2022, the 60th anniversary of their diplomatic relations and the 45th year since the signing of their Treaty for Amity and Cooperation. It demonstrated the special relationship between Vietnam and Laos that President Ho Chi Minh, President Kaysone Phomvihane and President Souphanouvong laid the foundation and worked hard to cultivate./.
