During the working session, Mr. Nikolai Bondarenko said that in the coming time, the two cities will organize cooperation and exchange sessions on fields such as economy, culture, information technology and heavy industry. At the same time, he looks forward to the business relationship continuing to grow and affirms St. Petersburg is always ready to receive business delegations from Ho Chi Minh City to jointly produce, trade and introduce products.
He expressed hope that the two cities could sign a joint memorandum of understanding between the St. Petersburg and the People's Council of Ho Chi Minh City, especially on the occasion St. Petersburg inaugurated a monument to President Ho Chi Minh in this city in 2023, on the 100th anniversary of Uncle Ho's arrival in Russia.
Basically, the inauguration of Uncle Ho's monument in St. Petersburg has been prepared and Mr. Bondarenko invited the delegation from Ho Chi Minh City to attend, because this is one of the common concerns of the two countries.

Le spoke highly of initiatives and efforts of Saint Petersburg to promote cooperative relations with HCM City and other localities in Vietnam, and agreed with the proposal to set up cooperation between the municipal People's Council and the Saint Petersburg Legislative Assembly, contributing to strengthening friendship and cooperation between the two localities./.
