The Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics (HNAP) on December 10 th organised a scientific workshop to review the cooperation in the study and dissemination of Ho Chi Minh’s ideology between HNAP and the Ho Chi Minh Institute of the Saint Petersburg State University (SPSU) of Russia.
The cooperation aimed to study and collect documents about Ho Chi Minh during the time he studied and worked in Russia .
Under the cooperation, a room displaying photos, documents and objects featuring the President’s life and career was set up in SPSU, serving the study and dissemination of Ho Chi Minh ideology and the Vietnamese culture in Russia .
In addition, more than 5,000 pages of documents related to President Ho Chi Minh and Communist Party of Vietnam were also collected.
Within the framework of the cooperation, HNAP carried out scientific studies on Nguyen Ai Quoc’s activities in the Soviet Union from 1923-1938; the value of Ho Chi Minh ideology and morality, and the role Ho Chi Minh in laying the foundation for Vietnam-Russia friendship and comprehensive cooperation.
The two sides co-organised a scientific workshop entitled “Ho Chi Minh Heritage and nowadays” in Saint Petersburg city on the occasion of the 125th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh, which contributed to strengthening traditional relations between Vietnam and Russia.
More than 31 presentations by scientists from the HNAP and the SPSU at the scientific workshop shared the cooperation prospects in study and dissemination of Ho Chi Minh ideology, of the Vietnamese revolution, the Russian October Revolution and the cooperative relationship between Vietnam and Russia./.
