Youth of Armed Forces and Police learn from Uncle Ho through practical actions

Over the past time, the Youth Union of the two sides directed the organization of more than 7,000 political activities, youth union activities, seminars and youth forums with the themes “Thinking about Uncle Ho makes our hearts brighter”, “Vietnamese youths remember Uncle Ho's testament and follow his footsteps”, and the storytelling contest “Uncle Ho with the youth, the youth with Uncle Ho”.

Young people of the Armed Forces and Police coordinated to organize two programs on transport culture, build 7,430 panel products and slogans to visually popularize the values and ethical standards of the Police and Armed Forces; built 1,500 infographics, 820 short video clips, and 2,200 legal situations to popularize among the youth of the two forces.

Through the programs, the Armed Forces Youth donated more than 32.8 million gifts, seedlings and animals; thousands of bicycles, national flags and Uncle Ho's photos; 458 “100-VND houses”, public houses, community cultural houses and children’s playgrounds; hundreds of tons of rice and necessities, household items and free medical examinations and medicine for hundreds of thousands of people with a total value of nearly 100 billion VND.

Hundreds of thousands of cadres, union members, and youth of the Armed Forces and Police helped people prevent and fight floods, natural disasters, fires, search and rescue and overcome the consequences of storms and floods in localities. Many comrades heroically sacrificed for the peaceful life of the people.

At the event, the Youth Unions, along with collectives and individuals of the two forces, received Certificates of Merit from the Central Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union for their outstanding achievements in studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style in 2022-2024./.
