The Ta Gia Khau Border Station, Lao Cai provincial Border Guard, has organized a ceremony to inaugurate the "Uncle Ho with Border Guard soldiers" statue.
The event was attended by leaders of the Lao Cai provincial Border Guard Command; Student Management Department of the People’s Security Academy, relevant units and more than 200 officials, soldiers and people from ethnic groups in the two border communes of Din Chin and Ta Gia Khau.
The statue was built in the most solemn position in the premises of the Ta Gia Khau Border Station. It was started in early June 2024, with an investment of over 200 million VND donated by the Border Station’s officers and soldiers in coordination with sister units and benefactors.

After the inauguration ceremony, the Lao Cai provincial Border Guard Command, the People’s Security Academy’s Student Management Department and benefactors presented 200 gifts to people in the two communes of Din Chin and Ta Gia Khau. Each gift included 20 kg of rice and instant noodles; candy, books, and essential items. In addition, they also awarded scholarships to poor students facing difficult circumstances.
Previously, the two units, along with the HD Group and benefactors, also presented 200 gifts to students in the two communes of Ta Ngai Cho and Pha Long./.
