Visiting the relic and hearing about the school's history, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan expressed her respect for the glorious revolutionary tradition of the school, as well as the locality.

In the memorial book, she said she hoped that today's young generation will follow in the footsteps of their predecessors, determined to strive to fulfill the advice of Uncle Ho when he visited the school 60 years ago, contributing to boosting the provincial development and the national construction and defence.

The cultural and historical relic is a proud "red address" of Hoa Binh Province, a place of traditional education. It is a revolutionary system for generations and is a place to visit, study and learn about history and culture that attracts a large number of tourists nationwide. On April 1, 1958, the school was established on the basis of a job site for young people to both work and learn.

On August 17, 1962, the school welcomed Uncle Ho to visit. This was a great honor for the staff, teachers and students of the school. Uncle Ho had a talk with more than 400 leaders of the province, districts and communes and 1,200 officials, teachers and students of the school. He left an autograph for the school encouraging its staff and students to study well, work well, keep trying, and keep making progress. Uncle Ho's teachings have become the goal and task of striving not only for the school, but also for the Party Committee, authority and people of the province.

In 2008, the site was granted a certificate by the People's Committee of Hoa Binh province as a provincial-level historical and cultural relic. To preserve and promote the value of the relic, in 2012, the People's Committee of Hoa Binh City restored and upgraded the relic on a campus of more than 3,335 square meters./.
