On September 15, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Le Minh Hoa visited School No. 14 named after President Ho Chi Minh in Mongolia’s capital city Ulaanbaatar, as part of his visit to this country to co-chair the 18th meeting of the Vietnam-Mongolia Intergovernmental Committee.

Minister Le Minh Hoan appreciated the achievements that the teachers and students of the school have achieved during the history of more than 70 years of nurturing talents, making an important contribution to the construction of Mongolia.
Recognizing great contributions to fostering the friendship between the two peoples, especially achievements in honoring President Ho Chi Minh, hero of the national liberation of Vietnam and a great man of culture, in Mongolia for more than 40 years, Minister Hoan pledged that he would continue to accompany and support the school teachers’ and students’ aspiration for the Vietnam - Mongolia traditional friendship relationship, as well as for President Ho Chi Minh.
School Rector E. Gungaajav expressed his honor to welcome the Vietnamese Minister and delegation, considering this a meaningful, great encouragement from the Party and State of Vietnam for the school named after Uncle Ho.
He briefly reported to the Minister and the delegation about the general situation as well as the outstanding achievements in the educational career of the school throughout the journey of formation and development, and especially the proud and honorable marks of being named after President Ho Chi Minh in 1980.
He promised to continue to do his best to cultivate the friendly relationship between the two peoples in general, as well as in dissemination and honour of President Ho Chi Minh in Mongolia.
During the visit, Mr. Nguyen Van Tinh, Director of Vietnam Clean Fish Joint Stock Company, presented a gift of 500 kilograms of fish worth USD6,000 and an annual full scholarship for a school student to study in Vietnam.
Meanwhile, Mr. Nguyen Vu Hoan, representative of Northern Food Corporation (Vina Food 1) presented a gift of 5 tons of rice worth USD2,000 to the school./.
