The contest also aims to honour his great contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation, the Communist movement and international workers and shows the gratitude of the Vietnamese people and the affection and respect of the people of countries in the world for President Ho Chi Minh.

Launched by the Department of Grassroots Culture under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, it is also an opportunity to promote the results of 3 years implementing Politburo Directive 05-CT-TW on promoting to study and follow President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, ethnics and style in all sectors, localities and honouring outstanding groups and individuals, good people and good deeds. 

Participants are professional and non-professional painters, Vietnamese citizens and overseas Vietnamese. Each author can send one or more works with dimensions of 54x79cm. The work must be done in recent times, and have not been submitted to other contests. Entries can be sent by April 10th./.
