Leader commemorates President Ho Chi Minh in central city

Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan was very touched when she was introduced, if Nghe An is the hometown - the birthplace of beloved President Ho Chi Minh, Hue is considered the second homeland - with imprints of his childhood. This place contributed to nurturing, forging and initially forming President Ho's thought of patriotism and love for the people, from which he decided to go and find a way to save the country and save the people.

Thua Thien - Hue is honored to be the place where President Ho Chi Minh and his family lived, worked, studied and participated in patriotic activities for a period of 10 years with two phases, from 1895 -1901 with the name Nguyen Sinh Cung and from 1906-1909 with the name Nguyen Tat Thanh.

The memorial house of President Ho Chi Minh on Mai Thuc Loan Street is a place marked with his childhood, the first period when Uncle Ho and his family came to live in Hue. It was also in this house that Uncle Ho's mother, Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan, fell seriously ill and died on February 10, 1901, when the boy Nguyen Sinh Cung was 11 years old.

After visiting the artifacts at the memorial house, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan wished that officials and employees of the Ho Chi Minh Museum Thua Thien - Hue continue to do better in collecting and introducing the value of the relics associated with the time when Uncle Ho lived, studied and participated in patriotic activities in the ancient capital of Hue.

Thua Thien - Hue currently has about 20 monuments and relics commemorating President Ho Chi Minh.

On this occasion, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan donated VND200 million to support and care for children in Thua Thien - Hue Province./.
