The move is part of activities to celebrate the 129th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s birthday (May 19th, 1890).
The exhibition attracts numerous visitors
With nearly 300 photos, documents, excerpts, statistics and more than 100 records and archives; the exhibition introduced historical moments around the nine times the port city welcomed Uncle Ho.
At the same time, the event also generalized the development and great achievement which the Hai Phong Party Committee, army and people have made with their efforts to follow President Ho Chi Minh’s teachings.
Through images and materials; viewers can imagine the development process of Hai Phong since its establishment, the periods of revolutionary struggle periods to liberate the city (1955) and the process of building and fighting against the destructive war by the US imperial army, and the result of 30 years of carrying out the Party’s renovation policy, especially breakthrough achievements in recent years.
The exhibition also contributes to teaching the ideology, morality and style of President Ho Chi Minh to numerous cadres, party members and people of Hai Phong.
It will last until May 20th./.
