Part of Uncle Ho's manuscript

During the meeting, Than Thi Thu, member of the city Party Standing Committee and Head of the city Party Committee Commission on Popularization and Education, analyzed the historic value and profound significance of President Ho Chi Minh’s holy testament, as well as the results after 50 years of implementation, especially in Party building and rectification.

She stressed that Uncle Ho’s teachings have been applicable for over the past 50 years, at present and in the future. “Uncle Ho’s key teaching in his testament for the whole Party and people, especially for each cadre and Party member, is to be hard working, thrifty, unbiased and selfless, as he said only when the Party is really pure, does it deserve to be a ruling Party,” said Ms Thu.

Expressing her hope that each cadre and Party member studies the contents of the great President’s testament, she urged them to do good deeds to show gratitude to Uncle Ho.

Speaking at the meeting, Secretary of the district 1 Party Committee Tran Kim Yen suggested Party organizations realize well the political activities, so that each cadre, Party member, officer, union member and resident can realize well the significance and importance of the testament, as part of realization in studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style./.
